When creating or managing a Standard (Classic) assignment, instructors may find that the Post Date setting is not visible, and only the Start Date and Due Date fields are shown. As a result, instructors are unable to enter grades or leave feedback on student submissions directly within Turnitin Feedback Studio.
This may occur because the Online Grading feature has been disabled at the administrator level for your institution's account.
Account administrators can check the Online Grading setting by following these steps:
- Log in to Turnitin as an administrator
- Navigate to your institution account's Settings
- Under the Classic Standard Assignment settings list, locate Online Grading and see if the box next to it is checked or not
Note: If your institution uses an integration that relies on external grading (such as Canvas Plagiarism Plugin), grading within Turnitin Feedback Studio may be restricted by design.
