My account shows as expired or inactive

If you are unable to access your account or if all classes have become unavailable to you (e.g., all show as Inactive or Expired even if the end date is in the future), your institutional account license may have expired.

Please reach out to your institution's Turnitin account administrator to confirm whether your institutional account has expired; if so, your Turnitin account administrator will need to contact their Turnitin account manager to renew the license. Once the license is renewed, your classes will become available again.

Note: If only your Turnitin user account is affected, your account may have been locked out of the institutional account. To gain access to your Turnitin account again, please contact your Turnitin account administrator to discuss your account access with them. Turnitin Technical Support cannot restore your access if your user account has been locked, only your Turnitin account administrator can make this decision.
