If you access your Turnitin Feedback Studio account directly via the Turnitin website (turnitin.com or turnitinuk.com for UK users) and have forgotten your password, follow the instructions below to regain access to your account.
To begin the process, follow the steps in our Resetting your Turnitin password guide.
Password requirements
To keep your academic work and personal data secure, your new password must meet the following strict criteria:
Length: A minimum of 12 characters.
Numbers: At least one number (0-9).
Letters: Both uppercase and lowercase letters (a-z, A-Z).
- Special Characters: At least one special character (e.g., ~!@#$%^&*()-_+=[ ]{ }\:;'"< >,.?/).)
Security Best Practices
Keep it unique: Ensure your new password is significantly different from your previous Turnitin passwords and is not reused from other websites.
Avoid common words: Do not include easily guessable phrases, such as the names of people, characters, products, or your organization.
Troubleshooting: Didn't receive the reset email?
If you submitted a password reset request but cannot find the email in your inbox, please check the following:
Check your Spam/Junk folder: Password reset automated emails are frequently filtered out by strict email providers.
- Update your contacts: Add noreply@turnitin.com to your email contacts or safe senders list and trigger the password reset again.
- Contact your IT department: If you are using a school-supplied email address, your institution's network security may be blocking the message. You may need to contact your network administrator and ask them to "whitelist" noreply@turnitin.com.
