When attempting to log in to Turnitin Feedback Studio at home.turnitin.com, you may encounter the generic error message: "Unable to log in at this time."
Error message: Unable to log in at this time. Please try again later or contact support if the issue persists.
Why this error occurs
This message typically appears due to legacy account setting mismatches or cached account state data that prevents the system from authenticating your credentials correctly. In most cases, this can be quickly resolved through a self-service password reset.
How to fix this error
- Go to the Turnitin password reset page.
- Enter the email address registered to your Turnitin account and submit the request.
- Check your inbox for the password reset link (be sure to check your spam/junk folder if it does not arrive within a few minutes).
- Follow the link to create a new password that meets Turnitin's password requirements.
- Return to home.turnitin.com and log in using your email and new password.
Note for SSO Users: If your institution uses Single Sign-On (SSO) to log in to Turnitin (such as Shibboleth, Google, Clever, or ClassLink), do not use the Turnitin password reset page. Instead, log in through your institution's portal or contact your local IT helpdesk.
Still having trouble?
If resetting your password does not resolve the issue, or if you receive a different error message (such as an account lock or block notice), please contact your institution's Turnitin administrator or Turnitin Technical Support for further assistance.
