When you make a submission using the Turnitin Similarity integration for Microsoft Teams, your file is automatically indexed and stored in a repository.
Depending on the specific license your institution purchased, your account will be set up with one of the following:
Private repository: A repository for your institution. This is the default setting for most accounts.
Private group repository: A shared repository for a specific group of institutions.
Global repository: A broader database of submissions made to Turnitin's general repository.
If you aren't sure which repository your institution uses, please reach out to your Turnitin account administrator for clarification.
Note: Turnitin for Microsoft Teams is developed and supported directly by Microsoft.
